BNE Parks Jack A Whirlwind of Activity

A Whirlwind of Activity

Well, a boring wait in a very small empty room where Kris had to go through lots of paperwork.

We were finally ushered into the “theater” (do i sound impressive using hispital lingo?) where it all kicked off. Lots of people and noise!

Honestly, they had him out in five or ten minutes, and before we knew it Mum was being attended to by “her team”, and Dad was ushered over to cut the umbilical cord…

After the pediatrician did his (alarmingly rough) tests and checks (like counting fingers and toes) he finanlly got bundled up…

…and even posed in front of the scoreboard that the nurses updated throughout the whole process…

For reference, Dad was 50cm, so with the right tucka Dad might be looking up to him one day.

After all of that he finally got to meet Mum…

  1. THANK YOU for sharing these precious moments. Im misty eyed but grinning from ear to ear. He looks so robust and healthy, just gorgeous and that FOOT in the photo of you cutting the cord just cracks me up. Nothing as awe inspiring as meeting your baby for the first time. Enjoy 💙💙

    1. Thanks Lynne, and thanks for giving the comments feature a go. I was just saying to Kris that as good as it will be to have this blog as our diary, it is even better to have comments from loved ones. Thanks again!

  2. Beautiful photos! You all look so relaxed and happy, and Jack looks to be a very calm little person (with a little more hair than his father).
    Much love…Fay & Jim
