This web site is a “blog”, which is another trend that i’m twenty years too late to. This week, friends and family have been frequently visiting this site to see if there are any new photos of Jack. On day three (after his arrival) I took a break from uploading photos and writing posts, and I could understand if people stopped visiting.
I want to keep writing posts, but I might only post articles once or twice a month. That can get frustrating if you are visiting the site routinely only to find that there is nothing new available.
That’s why I added a subscription feature. You can register your email address so that you get emailed whenever there are new articles posted.
The only trouble has been that you need to verify your email address. When you register your email address, an email will be sent out to you asking you to click a link to confirm that the email address is real. We (Fay and I) found that those emails can get lost in your Junk email folder. Unfortunately you won’t get emails for new articles until you click that link. This post is my way of not only explaining the new feature, but also explaining the problem and solution that we encountered.
